Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh took a brutal dig at MS Dhoni as he praised Team India skipper Rohit Sharma for his call to be dropped for the ongoing Test against Australia. He, while taking a jibe at Dhoni, said that no skipper has done this despite losing the series again and again in foreign conditions.
Indian national cricket team skipper Rohit received a massive call-up for the team in the ongoing fifth test against the Australian national cricket team. The match between the two teams takes place at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney and is also the final match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25.
Rohit Sharma admitted that he tried all things but it didn’t work in his favor and hence he decided to quit.

The fan added that Harbhajan Singh failed to create the narrative that Rohit opted out of the match. He claimed that everyone knows that the Indian national cricket team skipper was dropped because he failed to score runs with the bat. The fan said:

Harbhajan Singh praises Rohit Sharma for his decision, hits out at fans
However, this did not go down well with Harbhajan Singh as he lashed out at the fan, saying that he should listen to his and Sharma’s interview before saying anything. He also applauded Rohit Sharma while taking a dig at MS Dhoni. He highlighted:

Rohit’s decision to drop out was due to low scores in the Test series. The batsman has not been able to get going in the last few games and thus has allowed Shubman Gill to take the place in the team. It remains to be seen what his future will be in Tests.
