Hyderabad (SRH), directed by Pat Cummins, went head with the Super Giants of Lucknow LuckNow (LSG) in Rishabh, at the 61st Premier League (IPL) match 2025 on Monday, May 19th.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) won the game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 6 doctors at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium by Lucknow.

Opting for Bowl first in the game, the Sunrisers Hyderabad bowls got very well and restricted LuckNow Super Giants at 205/7 such as Malinga (2/28), Harsh Durey (1/44), Harshal Patel (1/49), and Nightish Kumar Reddy (1/28) collected metallic ones.

Pat Cummins also expressed his delight for the way Srh Batters played in the game against LSG and wished that they became the same way in every game. Said:
“I think sometimes, when we were in the best possible, they don’t seem to have too many risks like tonight. They are class and clean strikers and they got so many options. They took their choices and beat well. They probably could have done a little more throughout the season.”
In the end, Pat Cummins said they would be very confident about next season, as they had a great team. Said:
“I think a lot of confidence in the coming year. It’s a big one.
Srh faced a defeat to LSG in his previous match IPL
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) lost the previous match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on March 27, 2025, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad for five doctors with 23 balls per spare part.
Batting first after losing launch, Srh quickly started with Travis Head Smashing 47 left 28 balls. However, his dismissal triggered a mini-collapse. Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan fell to Shardul Thakur at the same time, and Srh could not really recover from these mishaps.
