Scottie Shafler wins the PGA Championship

For the first time in a career, Scotti Shafler was able to raise the Wanamaker trophy.

Shafler survived the charge in the fourth round from John Rama and kept golfel jt poston and bryson delambeau at enough distance to win PGA Championship Sunday. Earlier, the Sheffler had four top five on a golf major and missed the incision in 2022.

After the chaos, which took place at last year’s PGA Championship, in which he was arrested and imprisoned, Shafler was able to pull an incredible victory. He finished 11-under the denomination.

Shafler started the tournament five strikes over Colombian Jonathan Vegas and three strokes behind Ryan Gerard. But he played strongly in the second round, shooting from 68.

The third round – where he began to take control. While a bunch of golf stars in the event fell to the sidelines, the chef had an eagle for 14 and seven birds. He shot 65, and it was enough to push him to the top of the leaders.

“I am so proud of you,” said his wife Meredit when he came to say hello to her.

He supported the dominant pace through the fourth round.
