Former US President Joe Biden was diagnosed with prostate cancer, a statement said on Sunday.
The 82 -year -old Biden was diagnosed on Friday after he saw a doctor for urinary symptoms last week.
Cancer is characterized by Glesson’s mark 9 metastases to the bone, said his office, which means that it is a more aggressive form of the disease.
Biden and his family are said to consider treatment options, the statement said. In the office of the former president, he added that cancer is sensitive to hormones, that is, it can probably be managed.
This news comes almost a year after the former president was forced to abandon the US presidential election over his health and age’s concerns. He is the oldest person who holds the position in US history.
Biden, then a democratic nominee fighting for the re -election, faced criticism of his bad work in June, a television discussion against the Republican candidate and current President Donald Trump. His vice -president Kamal Harris was replaced by a candidate for a democratic candidate.
According to the UK cancer study, the diagnosis of Biden’s cancer with Glisson 9 means that his disease is classified as “full” and that cancer cells can spread rapidly.
