Minnesota Timberwolves star Rudy Gobert have addressed “a lot of wrong information” for his relationship with Julia Bonilla.
“Julia and I are currently in the painful process of redefining our goparenting relationship,” Gobert, 32, wrote in an Instagram story statement on Friday, May 16.
He continued, “I am fully committed to continuing to support the welfare of all the people I am concerned about. I ask everyone to refrain from guessing and respect our privacy in these difficult times.”
The news broke several hours earlier that Gobert and Bonilla, who Tmz Reporting is pregnant with their second baby, broken up. According to the outlet, Gober allegedly asked son Bonilla and the oldest Romeo, 12 months, left his house at the start of the NBA Playoffs. (Bonilla and the toddler were last seen in the Timberwolves game April 13 Gobert.)
It is currently unknown why Gobert and Bonilla ended with their relationship, though she deny that “never” is unfaithful.
“I go through one of the most painful times in my life, feel isolated, far from my family and friends,” Bonilla wrote, she has not published her pregnancy in public, in an Instagram story message that has ended since screenshot. “I considered Rudy’s love of my life. I left him everything. I gave him a child and poured out my heart.”
He added, “When everyone criticized him and insulted him, I stood beside him, always put him first and chosen, always. Despite how I have been treated, I choose to defend his name for my children. I have never been unfaithful to my children’s father.”
Bonilla further emphasized, as a mother, that she must “prioritize (she) health and well -being.”
“Thank you for respecting my privacy during this challenging time,” he concluded.
Gobert has been honest before about making his family a top priority, even losing the NBA game May 2024 When bonilla gave.
“It has been clear to me from the beginning, I would do anything I can be there,” he said in March 2024 press conference. “I don’t think there is any argument. That’s what I love about (my fellow players). We have a level of human connection and empathy for each other I think is very good. All the boys will literally tell me, ‘Don’t play. Go.’
