Mark Cuban offers an emotional farewell to a shark tank after 15 years

After 15 seasons, owner of Dallas Mavericks, 66, said goodbye to the ABC popular reality show with one last toast.

“I remember thinking this show is not going to last,” Cuban said in a confessional interview. “Go on there, tear it up, pick up hell, cause trouble. I didn’t really expect a third season and then thrive. He blew up.”

Looking back at all the entrepreneurs he helped mentor, Cuban said he was proud that he helped realize dreams of hard -working Americans.

He was also delighted to report “to bring a little edge to the show.”

“What I would like to say is thank you to everyone who took a chance, all the entrepreneurs who told me,” said Cuba. “Who knows how many millionaires we’ve created, how many people have we inspired? I’m proud of what we’ve done.”

Before the show ended Cuba joined fellow -Charter Robert Herjavec. Daymond John. Barbara Corcoran. Greiner truck and Kevin O’Leary for one last toast.

“Being left is really like having a big brother to leave the house,” said 76 -year -old Corcoran. Greiner, 55, added, “You are a warrior. You are a philanthropist. You are just a great person, and I admire and respect and love you.”

Even Mr Wonderful couldn’t help but throw a few tears as he said goodbye to his coworker and friend Longtime.

“I’m so proud of what we’ve all built together,” said O’Leary, 70. “We’ve become the ambassadors of the American dream all over the world. There’s so much of it because of you.”

In November 2023, Cuban announced that he would not return to the ABC series after season 16. At the time, the entrepreneur said he wanted to spend more time with his family, including his wife, Tiffany Stewartand their three children.

“(Shark tank) Egin in the summer and I want to spend that time with the family before my children off alone, ”he said Ink.

As he continued to work with the dozens of companies he invested in over 15 seasons, Cuba could not help but reflect on how much difference the show made on so many.

“This show changed me,” said Cuba. “I think I’ve changed the show and I think we’re all together as sharks change America.”
