The audience could fly through the sky to the Los -Angeles and avoid the notorious movement of the city during the 2028 Olympic Games, when the organizers had their own way.
The La28 Committee, which is accused of planning the city’s third summer game, announced a partnership with Archer Aviation to provide air taxi service during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The company states that it plans to use the fleet fleet for fans to places and from the place announced by La28 on Thursday.
The taxi flight was a long -standing dream. They were planned to make their debut in Paris Games in 2024, but were not certified by the European Air Force Security.
Similarly, Archer Aviation has not yet been certified by the US Federal Aviation Administration, which means that planes are not yet ready for commercial use. This is the founder and the CEO that he hoped to have this key certification of the type, which states that he meets design and security standards – aviation regulator this year.
If they receive certification on time at the 2028 game, air taxis offer 10-20 minutes of flights and visitors and fly between the elections, including several largest Olympic seats in the region.
It is unclear how much every trip will cost, but the founder and CEO of Archer Aviation Adam Goldstein said he wants to keep the prices comparable to Uber’s high class, Los Angeles Times reports.
Like the popular travel service, customers will be able to request a taxi through the application. The aircraft can carry up to four people and works similarly in their ups and landings.
A pilot northern aircraft is part of a family of vehicles called “EVTOLS” – which indicates electric vertical take -off and landing.
Archer, supported by Boeing and United Airlines, is among several EVTol manufacturers seeking to change traveling in overloaded urban cities, offering air travel.
The industry saw a lot of obstacles, including battery density, and none of the aircraft has yet been approved by FAA.
Archer’s northern plane is built with 12 engines and screws and produces “less noise and emissions than a traditional helicopter,” La28 reports.
Archer aviation hopes it will be certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) “at similar security levels like commercial airliners.”
“We want to transform the way people bypass the Los -Andgeles and leave the inheritance that forms the future of transport in America,” Mr. Goldstein said in a statement. “No better for this than during the LA28 games.”
Security, rules and investments have been a great obstacle to companies trying to enter a taxi flight. Despite the failures and delays, many people are more likely to be the future of transport.
Archer aviation remains confident that its plane may take the latest trends, and the 2028 Olympics as a way to introduce them to the world.
The UK government has announced a future flight plan in 2024, predicting that the first flying taxi could fly out in the UK by 2026 and become a regular spectacle in the sky.
Earlier in the Los -Angeles, the Olympics took place in 1984 and 1932, doing so for the third time when summer games were held in the city. The city announced that the 2028 games would not allow cars, a high order after the plans were announced to expand the district’s transit system.
