Samsung Electronics for acquisition fläktgroup for 1.5 billion euros

Samsung Electronics on Wednesday announced The fact that it acquires all the actions of the German Fläktgroup, the leading supplier of the heating and cooling decisions for 1.5 billion euros (1.68 billion) from the European investment firm Titon.

Samsung said the acquisition will help him expand in the field of heating, ventilation and air conditioning as the market is experiencing rapid growth.

“Our commitment is to continue investing and developing a HVAC high-growth business as a key engine of future growth,” said TM ROH, which is acting head of Device Experience (DX) in Samsung Electronics.

The acquisition of Fläktgroup stands for strengthening Samsung’s position on the HVAC market against competitors such as LG Electronics.

Fläktgroup delivers heating, HVAC solutions for a wide range of buildings and objects, in particular data centers that require a high degree of stable cooling. Samsung notes that there is a sustainable increase in demand at the data center -in the spread of generative II, robotics, autonomous riding and other technologies.

Fläktgroup has more than 60 major customers, including leading pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology and food and beverages, as well as gigafactories, Samsung said.

Samsung – said in March that its HVAC decisions have reached double -digit annual revenue over the past five years and that the company sought to increase profits by more than 30% in 2025.
