On Monday, May 12, the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) officially announced the IPL 2025 reviewed calendar after the 7 -day suspension of the Marquea T20 League.
According to the revised calendar IPL 2025, the continued season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will resume on May 17 and the final will take place on June 3.

The Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI), after consulting with all office carriers, the interested parties and the Government, has participated in the revised calendar of the IPL 2025.
According to the IPL 2025 reviewed calendar, the remaining league matches will be held in Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. In addition, the places for the playoffs will be announced on a later date.
The Premier League India (IPL) 2025 was suspended on May 9 for a week, and in the official announcement, the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) mentioned that the details of the new premises and the new dates would be published soon.
This happened one day after the 58th Indian Premier League 2025 game between the Punjab Kings (PBKs) and the Delhi Capitals (DC) were convened on Thursday, May 8, at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala after only 10.1.
The party was called because Pakistan launched a cowardly attack in several Indian cities, including Pathankot, which is only 90 km from the Dharamsala Stadium. A shutdown was applied to the city and the players, as well as the crowd, were evacuated from the stadium.
Above all, cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan arose after Pakistani terrorists attacked tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 innocent people and India launched the Sindoor operation to take revenge on lost lives destroying nine horror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan, which occupied the Kashmir.
As the IPL 2025 reviewed calendar has been announced, the greatest point of concern is the return of foreign players, who have already left India.
After the suspension was announced, most foreign players decided to return to the countries of origin, while some players decided to expand their stay in India.
The star players of the Australian Cricket team such as Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood will not return to the Premier League League 2025 Premier. And the other Aussie cricketter will not be pressured to participate in the rest of the competition, as Cricket Australia has offered to defend them if they decide not to go to India.
Above all, the BCCI is powerless in this situation, as they cannot do any action on players who jump IPL 2025 because the contractual clause of force excuses people/parts to fulfill their contracts in the event of an extraordinary event that is outside its control.
