The Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) is planned to hold a press conference to announce its next test pattern. According to reports to Daiik Jagran, it is known that Shubman Gill will take over the team in the longest format of the game.
Reports said that the crown of Shubman Gill as a test captain will take place on May 23 or 24. While the press conference will be housed to announce the captain, the Ajit Agarkar committee will meet in Mumbai the same day to choose the Indian staff of the England series.
The five -party test series will be the first task for Shubman Gill as the format captain. It is fair to say that the young batter will have the most difficult challenge and would like to guide the story of his first series as a leader of India.

Shubman Gill has also met a few members of the Indian team leadership in this regard, discussing the future. The young whisker is also the vice-chic for the hate team, as well as the T20is and directs Gujarat Titans at the IPL 2025.
The team’s captain’s place was vacant after Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from the test cricket. The first batter made the public decision through a publication on social media, and left many impacted, especially with him expressing his desire to play the test against England.
The name of Jasprit Bumrah was also discussed to lead the team, but considering its physical form, the BCCI was against. The governing body does not want the fast diaper to play all games in the series of England, as they want to play it in just two or three games.
The name KL Rahul appeared, but reports to PTI said that the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) does not look at it at all, since he is 33 years old and has not been as consistent as it should have been. Therefore, they advanced with Shubman Gill as Captain.
The reports also added that Ris Habh Pant will be named vice-chapter of the team, as the BCCI believes it is best for paper. Keeper-Batter has been the best baptism of the team in the tests in recent years, and with an average of 42 more with hundreds in Australia, England and South Africa, and seven scores between 90 and 99, will act as a Member of Gill.
Gill will have a great challenge as a captain, as the senior players have begun to move away. There have also been talks on the retirement of Virat Kohli and, if this happens, the young batter will have to lead a fragile alignment of battles.
