Pope Leo XIV On Sunday, he held his first prayer “Regina Caely” at St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican.

“I would like so much to come here in the first days of the new ministry, which gave me the church to translate this mission as Peter’s successor,” the Pope said.
He also conveyed a message to the young Catholics about vocations, saying: “Don’t be afraid! Welcome to the Church’s invitation and what Christ is the Lord!”

“May the Virgin Mary, whose all her life was the answer to the Lord’s call, always accompanies us after Jesus,” he said.
Pope Leo also addressed “no more war” during the appeal to those who gathered at St. Peter’s Square. He also called for a “true and lasting” peace in Ukraine, as well as in ceasefire in gas and the release of all hostages conducted by Hamas.
The Pope continued to say that he was grateful for the ceasefire declared between India and Pakistan, adding that he prayed for God to give the world a “miracle of peace.”
