Charity associated with Prince Har

The main charity associated with Prince Harry acknowledged that human rights violations were committed by his ranks in the Congo-Brazaville, after the independent consideration of the charges made by the Bank Community against African parks.

In a report published last year British newspaper Mail on SundayCommunity members have accused African parks that beat the beating, selection and rape of locals to prevent them from accessing their ancestral forests that are now in the conservation zone.

But despite the introduction of an independent review of its ranks in the Congo-Brazovile, the African park did not conclude publicly.

Instead, he published a statement saying that human rights violations had occurred in the Odala Cocua National Park to which he was running. He excluded the details of the abuse.

A review conducted by the London law firm Omnia Strategy LLP was transferred directly in Africa’s parks.

In her statement, Omnia stated that she had conducted an independent investigation into the alleged abuse in Odala-Cocwa since December 2023.

His statement did not include his conclusions and recommendations, which, he said, were sent directly to Africa’s parks.

The BBC appealed to Omnia, and the lawyers from Doughty Street Chambers, who participated in the investigation to request their conclusions, but they refused to comment outside their published statement.

Prince Harry has been sitting in the Parks Council of Africa and has been involved in charity since 2016. In 2023, after he served six years as president, he became a member of the Board of Directors, the governing body of the organization.

African parks have stated that over the past five years, this has improved its protection processes, both in the Odala-Cocwa National Park and in institutional order. Additional measures that have taken include the appointment of anthropologist to ensure that the tank communities are better supported by working with local human rights NGOs to support the local community, and this will hold an independent assessment of human rights impact.

The international charity survival that lobbied the rights of indigenous residents, and the question arose about the abuse of the people with Prince Harry, criticized the decision of the African park not to draw conclusions.

The survival rate reported the BBC “African parks that have pledged more reports, more employees and more recommendations – but such approaches did not interfere with the terrible abuse and violations of international human rights for the decade or more that African parks knew about these atrocities, and there was no reason to believe that they would do it now.”

When the prosecution was first published last year, survival stated that African parks had known about the abuse of the tank of 2013.

At the time, African parks said they had resorted to survival to find out more, but the latter refused to cooperate.

Survival stated that she wanted to defend her sources in the local community for fear of revenge.

African parks, with the Kokwater headquarters in Johannesburg, is probably one of the largest charities in Africa. It manages 23 protected areas in 13 African countries and is supported by powerful patrons.

On it siteAfrican parks lists a number of high -profile donors, including the European Union, Rob Walton, the Walmart Fortune heir, and Howard Buffett, son of Warren Buffett.

In its annual report in 2023, the charity stated that its sponsors provided it with more than $ 500,000 (375,000 pounds) a year.
