Delhi Capitals is joined to Delhi Atal as a last -minute replacement for IPL 2025

Delhi Capitals has signed the Bathery of Afghanistan Sediqullah Atal as a replacement of the Harry Brook in England, the franchise announced on Wednesday (May 7).

For the second year in a row, Brook was taken out of the IPL quoting personal motives. Delhi Capital had signed it by 6.25 Crore Inr at the last mega auction.

BCCI has banned Brook

After his withdrawal from the IPL, the BCCI also banned the IPL for two years.

Following the incident, the BCCI also issued new guidelines about players’ decision to remove from the IPL to the last minute, saying: “Any player registered at the auction and, after being elected, becomes unavailable before the start of the season, will be banned from participating in the tournament and auction of players for two seasons.” The rule claims.

Sediqullah Atal replaces Harry Brook:

While Harry Brook took out of the tournament even before starting, Delhi Capitals has signed Sediqullah atal after playing 11 games. The Batsman of First Order of Afghanistan, who has played so far 49 T20 and has obtained 1507 runs to an average of 34, including 13 half a century.

Sediqullah Atal took the lead for the first time in 2023 when he won 48 routes during the Premier League Kabul. It had marked 118 runs of 56 balls during these entrances. He also marked a century in the final of the tournament.

Last year, Sediqullah Atal starred in the bat to help Afghanistan win the Asia Emergency Teams T20 ACC Men. He finished the tournament for the highest scorer, scoring 368 runs in 5 games.
