The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has raised serious concerns about the security of its players who are currently involved in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Above all, the BCB also confirmed that he works closely with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Bangladesh Alta Commission in Islamabad.
The geopolitical tension between India and Pakistan is established to hinder Cricket tournaments, including PSL and IPL, at two nations. In the meantime, two Bangladesh players, the Punter Rishad Hossain (Lahore Qalandars) and the fast diaper Nahid Rana (Peshawar Zalmi), are actively involved in the PSL 2025 season.
The BCB is monitoring the security situation in Pakistan, with the safety of the players its maximum concern.

In a statement published on Wednesday, the BCB said he is working to secure the appropriate safety agreements for Bangladesh’s cricketers currently involved in PSL 2025.
“The BCB is actively coordinating with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the High Bangladesh Commission in Islamabad to ensure that all the necessary measures are underway to ensure the safety of our players,” the Council stated in a statement.
The next T20i series of the Bangladesh Cricket team in Pakistan, scheduled to start on May 25, is under question. Following the recent Airtrike of India, “Operation Sindoor”, Pakistan is preparing for possible retaliation, which has raised security problems in the region.
The BCB President, Faruque Ahmed, told Cricbuzz that they are supervising the situation closely and will wait before making a final decision on the tour. He added that the Council may reconsider its participation in the series based on how the situation is developed in the coming days.
“We are really working on the current situation (with regard to Pakistan for the T20I series) and can wait three to four more days,” said Faruque. “Let’s see how it goes on, but for the moment our main concern is with respect to the two players (Nahid Rana and Rishad Hossain) who are currently in Pakistan playing PSL.”
Saj Sadiq, a Pakistan sports journalist, shared that the Cricket Board of England and Wales (ECB) will entrust the advice of the Foreign Affairs Office and will consult with security teams when it comes to the security of English players in the IPL and PSL.
However, he emphasized that the final decision on whether the players stay in India or Pakistan for tournaments will be the players themselves.
“”As for English players at the IPL and PSL, the ECB will continue to guidance at foreign offices and talk to their security teams. But ultimately, is the players’ decision if they stay in India and Pakistan for #Cricket tournaments, “Saj Sadiq wrote about X (formerly known as Twitter).
