President Donald Trump On Sunday, he said he plans to appoint a new national security adviser for about six months, informing reporters that former advisor Mike Waltz had not resigned, and instead had been subjected to a modernized position as a United Nations administration ambassador.

Trump talked to journalists on the Air Force first on Sunday night, where he was asked about several topics, including trade deals, Mexican cartels and a national security advisor.

One reporter asked the president about the output of Waltz as a national security advisor, which the president said he was chosen for what he called a “higher position” or “update”.

Trump also said the waltz was not mistaken, and as the UN ambassador, he would do a good job.

“I have not lost confidence in it,” Trump said. “It goes in Organization of the United Nations for a reason. By the way, I think it is personally if I had confidence … I would work better than the other. “

“Stephen Miller at the top of the totem pole? I mean, I think he already indirectly has such a job … Because he has a lot about a lot,” Trump said. “He is a very revered man in the administration of Stephen Miller.”

The president was also asked if any trade deals would be announced this week, answering that some could happen.

But when pressed, if he can say more about the deal, Trump held back.

“Nobody understands,” he said. “We are negotiating with many countries. But at the end of this I will set up my own deals because I have made a deal. They don’t conclude a deal. I have made a deal.”

Trump said it meets with almost all countries concerning trade transactions, including China.

Having explained the process further, Trump said he would set the tariff and the country may agree or not.

“They don’t have to deal with us what is normal because we lost to Biden. We lose $ 5 billion a day,” he said. “Think about it. $ 5 billion a day. Now we are not dealing with China from the tariffs … From that we save billions of dollars.”

The proposal was ultimately rejected, which Trump said because Sheinbaum was afraid of cartels so fearing that “he can’t even think straight.”
