Social media dancer Miranda Derrick reveals an alleged DM of Drake

Miranda Derrick recalls the time she is allegedly contacted Drake.

“I received a DM from Drake,” said Derrick, 28, on Sunday’s episode, May 4, “Between us” podcast, while cohosts Allison Holker and a girl Weslie open their mouths in shock.

The show investigated three parts into her family’s claims that the 7m dancer is allegedly stuck in a cult run by the minister at Shekinah Los Angeles Church and the founder of 7m Films, Robert Shinn.

The series also followed other dancers and their families hoping to find answers about Shinn, who have been accused of sexually assaulting multiple women.

“No criminal charges were brought against Shinn. He has denied sexually abusing any member of Shekinah or any client of 7m,” a Netflix statement shown at the end of the series reads. “The civil legal case continues. Robert and his godefendant deny the allegations against them. The case is about to go to trial in 2025.”

Following the release of the series, Miranda shared that she was not “a victim,” “not in any harm” and “not being abused.”
