Along with the look inside her home, Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie shared a rare insight inside her childhood, as well as their relationship with their mother, Duchess York York Sarah Ferguson.

“She has always kept us so earthly,” said Eugenie, 35, for her mother during the podcast. “When you feel bad about yourself and the world, you give back to others. And Beatrice and I, of little, have always gone with Mum on all her charity work, and that’s so integral to her as a human being.”

Eugenie went on to share the story of her 18th birthday, who spent with Beatrice and Ferguson at Teenager Cancer Trust, of whom her mother is a sponsor. (Ferguson founded the Children’s Emergency Charity in 1993). “We spent half a day looking around and talking to the patients,” Eugenie remembered. “That was something she has nurtured in us from a very young age, to give back.”

Ferguson, 65, announced that she had been Been diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2023 after a normal mammogram. Since then she has undergone mastectomy and reconstruction surgery.

“She has renamed her new breasts Derrick and Eric,” said Beatrice on the Sunday podcast. “The joy she presents Derrick and Eric to the conversation is amazing.” Beatrice also shared “one of the best ways” in which their mother has treated her illness since he was diagnosed.

“(She) takes her example and lessons and ensures that other people get the checks they really need, and take the time to tell her story, making sure she tells her in her voice, in the right way, so that other people can actually learn from it,” explains Beatrice. “She loves nothing more than meets people and those who also suffer with cancer, because there is so much empathy there.”

Princess Beatrice offered an update on her mother Sarah Ferguson during a recent television interview. Beatrice, 35, appeared on the episode on Monday, May 6, from the UK this morning to promote the charity Outward Bound and touch the Duchess of York Recovery of Cancer. “She is so amazing icon. Less than a year after her first diagnosis, the Duchess revealed in January 2024 that she was diagnosed with malignant melanomatype of skin cancer. “Cancer is something that touches on so many people,” said Beatrice. “I think for her, knowing he could have been able to do something or help another person by sharing her journey, that has been giving the motivation and energy she needs through this time.”

Beatrice and Eugenie learned not only how to give back from their mother, but she also taught them how to solve conflicts at home. For the Royal Sisters, it began with the typical sibling squares.

“It would be a kind of channel us to be really open,” explained Beatrice. “There were never any secrets. That’s very important too. If we were worried about each other or its rest, there was anything on the table. Eug and I forced to a point of communication, especially for a silly childhood fight that Pink Converse coaches were in size in the right size.” In response, Eugenie quoted, “I remember that fighting,” Beatrice agreed to him, “It was a big one.”

According to Beatrice, “a new mother jumped into that battle and she was like – honestly, he was probably watching a boxing game or something – she was like, ‘Come on, you can do!'” Beatrice noted, at the time, that she was “slightly annoyed” by “her mother’s forced cooperation,” says she is going for “pushing you.

“But that compulsory cooperation and the joy of making up at the end was a big part of what he created in us too,” explained Beatrice. “This sense that it is okay to feel, it’s okay to push on those emotions, but you have to find out what the decision also looks like. It was being driven.”

Ferguson’s parenting style seems to have rubbed away on her daughters. Beatrice welcomed her second baby’s daughter with her husband Edoardo in January this year. (The couple also shares the daughter of Sienna, born in September 2021, and her son Christopher Woolf “Wooflie,” born in 2016 from Edoardo’s previous relationship with Dara huang.)

Royal experts have said Weekly US In February be the new baby, which is partially named in honor of his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth IIlikely to have a very different upbringing than other royal descendants.

Vickers also said Athena and her brothers and sisters will have more privacy than older children Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton – Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte 9 – and will also have “as normal education as possible, but obviously they are involved in royal commitments.
