The Princess Beatrice offer a rare insight inside her royal home while filming a podcast with her sister The princess Eugenie.
During Saturday’s chapter, May 4, of the “Lessons by our Mothers” Podcast, Beatrice, 36, appeared by video chat, offering a small insight inside the home he shares with a husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. “She has always kept us so earthly,” said Eugenie, 35, for her mother during the podcast. “When you feel bad about yourself and the world, you give back to others. And Beatrice and I, of little, have always gone with Mum on all her charity work, and that’s so integral to her as a human being.”
Eugenie went on to share the story of her 18th birthday, who spent with Beatrice and Ferguson at Teenager Cancer Trust, of whom her mother is a sponsor. “She has renamed her new breasts Derrick and Eric,” said Beatrice on the Sunday podcast. “The joy she presents Derrick and Eric to the conversation is amazing.” Beatrice also shared “one of the best ways” in which their mother has treated her illness since he was diagnosed.

Less than a year after her first diagnosis, the Duchess revealed in January 2024 that she was diagnosed with malignant melanomatype of skin cancer. “Cancer is something that touches on so many people,” said Beatrice. “I think for her, knowing he could have been able to do something or help another person by sharing her journey, that has been giving the motivation and energy she needs through this time.”
