Kane and Bayern denied the Bundesliga title celebrations after Gasp Leipzig Leveler

Harry Kane and Bayern Munich will have to wait a little longer before being officially crowned Bundesliga champions after being retained to a dramatic 3-3 tie of RB Leipzig at Red Bull Arena on Saturday.

Kane, who lost the game through the suspension, looked from the stands while Yussuf Pulsen marked the hosts with almost the last kick of the party to deny the Bayern the three points they needed to recover the title of Bayer Leverkusen and give the captain of England the first major trophy in his career.

The side of Vincent Kompany now needs only one point to seal the title after the Bayern came from two goals down to take the lead before the Igualada de Pouulsen.

Benjamin Sesko had given Leipzig leadership with a sublime long -range effort before Lukas Klostermann doubled the advantage of the house with a header shortly before the break.

Kompany’s men responded with two goals in 46 according to the second half of courtesy of two former Premier League players to Eric Dier and Michael Olise.

The Bayern scored what they thought was the winning goal when Leroy Sane dragged a shot in the lower corner just over five minutes from the end.

But Leipzig would have the last laugh – and put the Bayern’s celebrations on the ice – when Pouulsen collided with Jonas Urgig in the stoppage to level the tie.

Kompany’s side could still be crowned champion this weekend in case Leverkusen failed to beat SC Freiburg Sunday.

If Leverkusen wins, however, the Bayern will have the opportunity to wrap the title at Allianz Arena against Borussia Monchengladbach on May 9.
