There are plenty of horse races, but only one Kentucky Derby.
The event was founded in 1875, and since that time, the Kentucky Derby has grown to become the most popular horse racing event in America, as well as the first leg of the Triple Crown, which will continue later this year with the Prekness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes.
This year’s race will be the 151st Kentucky Derby run, and interest remains so high that it is covered on network TV, cable and streaming service!
