Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves finally reunited for a new film, Weekly US can confirm.
Bullock and Reeves, both aged 60, will star in a “romantic driving thriller” from Amazon MGM Studios. Scriptwriter Noah Oppenheimwho wrote movies before Jackie and The Maze Runnerwrites the script.
No additional details about the new Bullock and Reeves project have yet to be shared.
The last time Bullock and Reeves worked together was on the romantic drama of 2006 The lake’s house. Before that, they cost on the 1994 excitement film Speed.
Last year, Bullock and Reeves attended 30th birthday event for speed in October 2024. The pair came together to reflect on their time working on the action film that took place on a bus.
“We knew we were doing something flawed,” said Reeves about the film’s plot while Bullock was joking, “I was behind a projector wheel, so I was happy to be alive at the end of the day.
Bullock and Reeves form a quick friendship on a set. Bullock recalled how Reeves was a complete gentleman on a set especially when the actress had wardrobe misfortunes.
“I had this very lightweight dress, and I had a modsuit underneath,” she shared. “When we started exercising, I noticed that air speed would shoot the skirt over my head, the bottom part. He had to keep my integrity intact by keeping things that didn’t need to be seen on a 17 -foot screen hidden. That’s what I remember from that day.”
Months before reunion with Reeves, Bullock expressed her desire to Share the screen With his friend one more time before time expires.
“Before I die, before I leave this planet, I think Keanu and I need to do something in front of the camera,” said the Oscar winner during a joint appearance with Reeves on the May 2024 chapter of the “50 MPH” podcast.
Bullock added that she didn’t care if she and Reeves were in “wheelchairs” or “pedestrians” she wanted to make it happen – with the right script of course.
“If someone writes something great and puts us in the right place at the right time,” he added. “You can’t force it.”
Reeves echoed similar feelings.

While Bullock and Reeves had an incredible chemistry in their past projects, the Deos never dated off the screen-despite the worst of each other. Bullock joked for their potential romance years later.
“Keanu is a guy who, I feel like, are friends with every girl he has ever out of date. Esquire. “So maybe we might have survived. I don’t know. But we didn’t have to survive anything. We have to grow up together on parallel roads and throw our hats and meet for lunch and try to work together.
