Devin Haney (32-0, 15 kos) failed to impress with his wide unanimous victory of 12 rounds on Jose Ramirez (32-3, 18 kos) in his fight on Saturday night on the fatal fury card in Times Square in New York City. The scores were 119-109, 119-109 and 118-110.
Haney loved him all night, throwing a few shots and tying the slow Ramire when he approached. There was almost no action because Devin was not going to fight and fight. With RamÃrez, it is the guy who needs a stationary opponent to land. Haney was too silly to force him.
Haney came into the struggle in need of a victory to block -to make a profit with Ryan Garcia in October. He made his part with his victory over Ramirez, but Turki Alshikh has to reconsider his plans to do so. If Devin will fight as he did tonight, he will be angry.
