The writer inspired England Shannon Hale2007 book Austenland and subsequent 2013 feature film adjustment starring Keri Russell Like Jane, a loving woman who wants to be the main character in a love story similar to Austen.

She gets her chance when she visits the title destination that caters for Austen fans like her. But Jane forgets that Jane Austen’s love story often involves a small amount of betrayal, some fraud and plenty of broken hearts. When she falls in love with Mr. NOBLEY (Jj feild), an actor with the task of imitating Pride and prejudiceMr Darcy, Jane, has to find out if Nobley’s affections are real or if her romance is nothing more than fiction.

Austenland appeals not only to the author’s fans but also to anyone who enjoys a formula ROM-COMS with charming leaders. Russell excels as a heroine who feels wrong even in a place designed for her only, and Jennifer Coolidge Pops up briefly in a fun part supporting as Jane’s competitor, Elizabeth Charming.

War films are common, but war films with female main character are still rare. One of the best is Bravery under fireA play in 1996 that tells the same story from different perspectives. Sub -stick Nathaniel Serling (Denzel Washington) gets the task of finding out if Captain Karen Walker (Me ryan) worthy of an honor medal after death. She died during a botched rescue attempt in the Persian Gulf War, and the survivors offer conflicting accounts of her actions during that tragic incident. Will Nathan ever discover the truth?

Bravery under fire It’s not known today, but it’s a solid play that keeps you to stop for Karen’s actions. Is she a war hero or a war offender? Serling Washington is a dissatisfied researcher who gradually respects a woman who has never met her, and Matt Damon Excellent in an early role as a fellow who knows much more than he is prepared to say.

A big part of that is because of Maris, which exceeds playing no blondes (or, in this film, brunette) that is wiser than they first appear. The film is rude traffic in nostalgia from the 80s, so if you don’t like big shoulder pads and hair spray, you should pass this film.
