Charles Barkley He has some questions to his “great friend” Bill Belichick Following his viral interview with love Jordon Hudson.
“I’m not sure what’s happening,” Barkley, 62, shared during the appearance on the “And Patrick’s show”Wednesday, April 30.“ He has been a great friend for me for a long time. We’ve been friends since he trained for the Browns. I think he has to be very careful at the moment. This begins to be on a very slippery slope. “
While Barkley was quick to praise the former New England Patriots coach, 73, as “the largest ever football trainer” for the NFL, Belichick’s recent interview on CBS – where Hudson, 24, had interrupted the conversation – had raised some eyebrows.
“From what I hear, it’s starting to be a very slippery slope and I never talk about people’s personal relationships,” Barkley explained to the radio host And Patrick. “That’s another rule I got but I’m a little concerned with some of the things that are happening, and I might actually reach out to him to make sure everything is good.”
For Barkley – who played nearly 16 seasons in the NBA before venturing to broadcasting sports – he has lived according to the rule that reporters should not ask personal questions.
In addition, family members do not need to speak out because “I’m the famous one.”
“I’m concerned from what I hear,” continued Barkley. “It doesn’t look good right now, I’ll admit that.”

Hudson attended the interview with her boyfriend and appeared to be interrupting every time Dokoupil asked for her.
“She did not challenge any particular question or subject but simply do her job to make sure the interview stayed on track,” Belichick he said in a statement on Wednesday. “Some of the clips make it seem to avoid the question of how we met, but we have been open about the fact that Jordon and I met on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021.”
CBS news, however, later defend the interview Saying in an online statement, “When it was agreed to speak to Mr. Belichick, it was for a wide interview. There were no pre-regards or restrictions to this conversation. This was repeatedly confirmed with his publisher before the interview took place and after it was completed.”
From Barkley’s perspective, he believes it is better for family members and loved ones to stay away from the press and let the players or coaches do the talk.
“If any family member speaks out, he goes into the water muddy and I’m a little concerned,” he concluded. “I will admit that because he is my friend through good, bad and anyway and hope that everything is fine.”
