Weekly easily requires up to 241,000, more than expected in the last signs of economic problems

Initial unemployment claims have posted an unexpected increase last week in a potential trouble sign for US economy fluctuations.

For the first time submission of unemployment insurance applications amounted to 241,000 per week, ending on April 26, which is 18,000 compared to the previous period and higher than the Dow Jones for 225,000, the Labor Department reports.

Permanent claims that work for a week behind and providing a broader view of the dismissal trends increased to 1.92 million, which is 83,000 to the highest level since November 13, 2021.
