One of the most busy bullet trains in Japan stopped after the snake confused in the power line, causing electricity shutdown.
Tokaido Shinkansen trains that passed between Tokyo and Osaka were rejected from 17:25 local time on Wednesday.
According to local media, the services resumed around 7:00 pm local time, said the operator of the central Japanese railway campaign.
Currently, Japan is in one of the most busy holiday seasons “Golden Week”, consisting of four national holidays in seven days, and will see trains, airports and festive access points.
This year, Osaka also holds a worldwide exhibition where millions of foreign and domestic visitors flock to the city until it ended in October.
The change occurred between the Gifu-Hashima and Maibara stations that suspended Tokyo-Osaka and Nagoy trains, and trains related to the tire and Tokyo, the Japanese Kyodo News news agency reports.
While the authorities worked to restore electricity, passengers were reportedly gathered around the staff at one station, while the big queues were formed on the tickets.
One frequent traveler Shinkansen, who was returning to Tokyo, said it was the first time he survived.
“I use Shinkansen several times a month, but for the first time I was experiencing a suspension of electricity shutdown,” said 46 -year -old Satoshi Tagova.
But 26-year-old Kazutosya said he had “tired” to the services.
“I want them to run on time,” he added.
This is not the first time the snake stopped Shinkansen’s service.
In April 2024, a 17-minute delay took place, while the authorities removed a 16-inch (40.6 cm) snake from the train between Nagoy and Tokyo, CBS News reports, American partner BBC News.
