At the ceremony, which marks the beginning of the construction of the bridge, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said the bridge was “far beyond just an engineering task”.

The construction of the bridge began on the same day, which South Korean legislators said that more than 600 North Korean troops were killed in the fight for Russia in the war against Ukraine, citing their intelligence officials.
In return for military support, Moscow seemed to provide Pyongyang technical assistance in spy satellites, drones and air missiles, they added.
