US Army soldier accused of hacking Trump and Harris phone records


A US Army soldier was accused of selling confidential phone records.

Cameron John Wagenius, 20, has been charged by federal authorities in Texas with two counts of unlawful transmission of confidential telephone information on Dec. 20 and indictment was unsealed this week.

Wagenius was a soldier at Fort Cavazas in Texas. Court records do not list his rank.

Alleged AT&T call logs for the 2024 presidential candidates were posted online in November, The Verge reported, noting that the call logs have not been verified.

Details of the hack are not disclosed in the indictment.

The indictment accuses Wagenius of selling “confidential phone records” on the Internet.

“We are aware of the arrest of a Fort Cavazos soldier,” Fort Cavazos told Fox News Digital. “III Armored Corps will continue to engage with all law enforcement agencies as needed.”
