The Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo have signed an agreement on each other’s sovereignty and came up with a peace deal until May 2.
The transaction was signed by foreign countries of the two countries in Washington, with US Secretary of State Mark Rubio at the ceremony on Friday.
In recent months, hundreds of thousands of civilians have been displaced when M23 rebels, supporting Ruda, have been confiscated in the east of Doctor Congo, rich in minerals.
Having lost the territory, the government in Kinshase appealed to the US for help in exchange for access to minerals.
The relationship was so bad between Dr. Congo and Rwanda that the meeting in Washington and the promise to resolve disputes through dialogue is a sign of progress.
The texts of the agreement state that both sides now expect significant investments that promote the US and the private sector government.
Despite the negotiations, the fight was reportedly continued on Friday in the province of North Kiva.
Earlier this week, the D -R Congo and the M23 group stated that they sought peace, expressing hope that the ceasefire could be reached.
Eastern Doctor Congo officials say about 7,000 people have been killed there.
The decades of the conflict has intensified since the beginning of the year, when the M23 had arranged an unprecedented abusive, capturing Guo and Bukov – the two largest cities in the Eastern Congo – and causing fear of a wider regional war.
D -R Congo accuses Rwand of arms of M23 and sending troops to support the rebels in the conflict.
Despite the allegations of both the UN and from us, Rwanda denied M23 support.
