Clark became an Instagram officer with fellow balletball player and Iowa alum Connor McCafery In August 2023. Following his graduation that spring, McCaffery began to work as a team assistant to the Indiana Pacers.
“It’s a way in,” he told the Sign up monks In 2023, expressing an interest in becoming a coach one day like his father. “It’s an entry level job. You have to work hard and work your way up. That’s obviously what I want to do.”
McCaffery was a four -star recruit for the Iowa Hawkeyes, winning several honors throughout his college career, including the team’s academic excellence award. When dating Clark, she has become one of her biggest fans.
Clark led the Hawkeyes to the NCAA 2024 women’s basketball championship after a record break season and was later selected by Indiana fever as a draft option No. 1 Wnba. As they celebrated her career milestone in New York City, Clark Gushio made her love in uploading the story of Sweet Instagram.

The couple went public with their romance. “Best end up to summer,” Caitlin headed their first appearance on Instagram. McCaffery’s brother Patrick quoted the comments section, “I am the best 3rd wheel.”
McCaffery gawed over Clark on her 22 -year -old birthday. “Golden Bday / T Swift Year will be the best again. With everything you’ve already achieved, there’s so much more for you and your special self. I admire you in every way and I love you,” he wrote through Instagram, sharing a carousel of cute photos.
Clark playfully called her boyfriend in the comments section, teasing, “Acting like Ua T Swift Fan Tho is crazy, but I will let this slip hehe🤍.”
When Clark always became the top scorer in NCAA Women’s Basketball History, McCafery was quick to cheer himself. “So proud,” he wrote through his Instagram story. “Love you 22.”
McCaffery celebrated through social media when Clark and the Hawkeyes arrived at the last four of the NCAA tournament, writing, “Out of words for this 1.” Clark removed impressive stats during the game, including nine 3-point pointer, seven rebounds and 12 assistants.
Although the Hawkeyes were defeated by the University of South Carolina Gamecocks in the Madness final of March, McCaffery was still proud of his girlfriend, calling her “my jaw” in a sweet story after the Instagram game.
When it was a draft WNBA time later that month, Clark turned heads in an all-prada dress. A fan on X asked for McCaffery’s honest response to the look, to which he answered, “😲🫢🤤.”

McCaffery thanked his girlfriend in the post’s comments, writing, “Thank you ub 🥹 Love you forever 🤞️.” He also had fun on Clark’s caption by joking, “and I will continue to let you win those shooting competitions !!!!!”
