Real Madrid has published a statement that confirms his participation in the Final of the Copa del Rey of the weekend against Barcelona, ending the speculation that could boycott the party.
The club was wrapped in the controversy over the last 24 hours after a dramatic bankruptcy with the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) on the officials designated for the final in Seville.
The tensions fired when Real Madrid formally opposed the Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea selection as referee and Pablo González Fuertes as a variation officer.
His concerns focused on Gonzalez Fuertes’s past criticism of the Referees of Real Madrid TV, which often examines the official decisions before the high profile accessories.
Bengoetxea, meanwhile, was reduced to tears at a recent press conference due to the pressure Los Blancos made.
As the tensions increased, the club requested the scheduled training session and the press conference. They also demanded a last -minute change in official appointments.

The statement said: “In the eyes of the rumors that have arisen in the last hours, Real Madrid CF informs that our team never considered it refusing to play in the final of tomorrow.
“ Our club understands that the unfortunate and inappropriate statements of the referees designated for this match, made 24 hours before the final, cannot dirty a sporting event of global importance that will be monitored by hundreds of millions of people and also out of respect for all fans who plan to travel to Seville and for all those who are already in the Andalusian capital.
“Real Madrid understands that the values of football must prevail, despite the hostility and animosity that has been again displayed today against our club, by the referees designated for the final.”
