‘Saltburn’ (2024)

Emerald of a fennell (A promising young girl) Write and direct this strange erotic story of obsession and envy. Oliver shy, Oxford Oliver’s middle class (Barry Keoghan) befriend with the rich, handsome and popular Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi). When Felix invites Oliver to spend the summer in his family estate, “Saltburn,” Oliver quickly immerses every member of Catton’s strange clan as Felix’s mother, Elspeth (Spectacular Rosamund pike). As he treats, seduce, and intimidation, her lust for power – and for control over Felix – only grows stronger.

Pure Suspenseful, disturbed and charming, with bold images and shocking spirals. Keoghan’s performance is very powerful, and you leave the film wondering what the character really wanted in the first place. (Like a bonus, Pure have come “Murder on the dance floor”Back to the mainstream – and we’re all better for it.)

‘The menu’ (2022)

Another film exploring the privilege and excess of the higher class, The menu star Ralph Fiennes Like Julian Slowik, a famous chef who invites a group of rich foods to a unique culinary “experience” on a private island. It is soon revealed, however, that the chef has many more sinister plans for his guests, all of whom hide dark secrets. (Hoult nicholasJohn Leguizamoand Judith Light just a few of the standout actors in this contemptible ensemble.) Everyone except Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy), which ends on the guest list at the last minute – and does not completely belong to the other restaurants.

Taylor-Joy is great as she tries to understand Slowik motives and escape the island alive. The story is full of troubles that will be horrified – but it’s all fun. Aid from Succession director Marked. The menu is a sharp, funny thriller that will leave you with a desire for more.

Blink Twice (2024)

Zoë Kravitz Made the first appearance of a strong and shocking director with this 2024 psychological excitement film in starring Naomi Acka (Whitney Houston: I want to dance with someone), Alia shawkat (Arrested development)) Channing tatum. Ackie and Shawkat play Frida and Jess, two best friends invited to party on a private island by the Slater King (Tatum) technology billionaire. Although the island at first appears as a paradise, Frida begins to notice pubs in memory and strange behavior from some of her fellow -questers.

Blink twice Does psychodrama meet a slasher with a horrific twist that will leave you searching, but Ackie lands the film with her stellar performance. Tatum, who usually plays romantic leaders or comedy characters, shows a different side of his talent in this quiet sinister performance. It is a story about the importance of feminine unity in man. (And, like all films on this list, he warns you to stay away from the unique private estates of the ultra-weelthy.)
