After five murderous seasons, Joe Goldberg’s journey finally ended – but Netflix’s You Actually killed it?
The final season, which performed for the first time on Thursday, April 24, includes troubled bends and turns over Badgley’s headAnti-hero. Moving back to New York led to Joe falling back to some old patterns – including murder. This caused him to drift away from Kate and right into Bronte’s arms. But the relationship took a deadly turn when Joe killed her ex-boyfriend (Tom Francis), who was actually the son of Dr. Nicky. Bronte and a group of internet friends set up a plan to pull Joe down.
Bronte rejected briefly after forming a bond with Joe, but once she saw her true nature she cheated on her arrest. Joe was sentenced to life in prison, the final scene of the series.
After moving to New York, Kate tried to re -establish Joe’s image. Their marriage seemed perfect until Joe had the urge to kill again and later had a relative. Kate then put a plan in place to take her husband down – and won the full custody of Joe’s son, Henry.
The plan brought several people from Joe’s past back to his life and Kate nearly made it after the two were caught in a fire in the bookstore. Kate survived, but suffered third grade burns. He was able to get the confession that Joe gave in prison and became Henry’s main carer.
Initially Bronte was a new -com who contacted Joe. The truth? Beck was her ta and her death caused Bronte to dig into what actually happened to her. This led her to a community on -le who blamed Joe – and traced her movement since Beck’s death.
Bronte became fraudulent after meeting Joe and turned his friends briefly. But by the end of the series, Bronte Joe was arrested after a fight and was able to republish Beck’s book with Joe’s words.
With Anna’s camp playing both parts, it was not always easy to know when she was Raegan and when she was Maddie. Joe kidnapped who believed was in Raegan but Maddie was actually and the situation became complicated. Joe wanted to kill Raegan so she kidnapped too and the sisters faced in his secret glass cage.
Maddie came out on top – after killing his twin – but he had to pretend to be Raegan. The guilt had to be too much for her and she followed kidnapping as different people found out who Maddie was. Joe even took Maddie and Raegan’s husband – who had a relative with Maddie – hostages. Harrison framed for her murder but once Joe was arrested, the truth came out.
Maddie did not have to serve time for killing his sister and eventually married Raegan’s husband and conceived with his child (after carrying Raegan’s daughter before).
Throughout the season, Kate’s half -brother (Griffin Matthews) Support her despite having concerns about Joe. Ultimately, a battle for power with their father’s company led to Teddy responsibly and turned it into a not -for -profit.
After faking her death, Marienne (Tati Gabrielle) He returned to end the reign of Joe’s terrorism once and for all. He tried to convince Bronte not to trust Joe before going back to Paris and her daughter. Marienne re -faced once Joe was arrested to work with Kate to sell her art.
Once Kate turned on Joe, she traced people from his past including Nadia (Amy-Leigh Hickman). The student released from prison and worked together – with Marienne – to take Joe down. One fire at Mooney’s later, Nadia started over by writing a book and continuing to do outreach with prisoners.
