NFL Prospect Travis Hunter According to the college, it is projected as a wide receiver and apostate. But some experts questioned the validity of the player who succeeded in both positions at the Pro -level.
A player who approached Hunter’s aspirations in the NFL – his former Colorado University and the head coach of the staff of Jackson Deion Sanders. Sanders was almost well known as an elite defender during his professional career, but also played a wide receiver in rare times, mostly in the 1996 season, Dallas cowboys.
Now the former wide NFL receiver and the three -time Super Bowl Champion Ed McCafre thinks Hunter must follow a similar base to Sanders. Macafre believes that Hunter is more valuable as a defender, and does not expect Hunter to play with the offense and protection in the pros that Hunter often did in college.

“Personally … I think it provides great value in the return position now, I see no scenario when it does not leave the field in NFL, I don’t think it is possible. Perhaps for the game or once at the time you can reproduce a significant number of pictures in NFL, but for a long time I don’t think you can hold.”
“In college, you are different if you are much better and physically gifted than the guys against whom you go. If you get into NFL, there is no such gap in the talent.”
McCafre also did not rule out Hunter opportunities to focus on a wide receiver, but suggested the mechanics of the Hunter more sophisticated now.
“Can he play the receiver? Absolutely, he’s a sporty enough to do it. I think he will need to work more on his route, and his skill was offensively than he was in defense,” McCafre said.
“I think most teams seeking to make it want it to be closed, left angle that can bring the best receiver out of the game.”
McCafrey said this as the one who believes that the football player’s duty is to play depending on the position that the coach chooses.
Being a father of the four current and former football players, including San Francisco 49ers stars, running back Christian McCafre and Washington commanders, a wide receiver of Luke McCafre, and former Max and Dylan McCafre players, Ed saw and helped to facilitate many changes.
“Max played in the younger year DB and moved to the elder year receiver. Luke played as a second year, as a defender as he was the older one, he was now a receiver. Christian played on both sides of the ball,” said McCofrey.
“That’s why I absolutely love what Travis Hunter did in college. Travis Hunter is a footballer.”
Hunter himself rejected the idea of reproducing only one position in the NFL.
The upcoming newcomer said that “he would never play football again” when he was told to focus on playing either on his back or a wide receiver.
“It never plays football again,” Hunter said CBS Sports Last week. “Because I have been doing it all my life and I love being on a football field. I feel like I could dominate each side of the ball, so I enjoy doing it.”
Last season, Hunter played 713 pictures in the crime and 748 defense shots and was still incredibly productive despite a huge number of pictures.

He had 96 catch for 1258 yards with 15 landing as a wide receiver, while he had 35 shells with four interceptions, 11 passes were defended and one forced silence as a defender.
Meanwhile, the team, which is currently the favorite of the chances of “Land Hunter Hunter”, “Cleveland Brans”, suggested that they want Hunter to focus on a wide receiver.
“In terms of Travis Hunter, the return or receiver the answer is” yes. “It can play both and I think it makes it special.
“But I think what makes it a little unicorn is what he can do both at a high level.”
