Bowling first in the game, DC retired very well and restricted LSG in 159/6 with Mukesh Kumar (4/33) brilliant with the ball. Pursuing the target, Kl Rahul and Abishek Porel struck in the 1950’s, and the Chase Run was completed at 17.5 points.
Speaking after the game, Axar Patel said they started badly with the ball, but he managed to change their impetus to them. Said:
“The way we started with the ball, we did not take doctors, but we controlled the game. Once we took 2 fast doctors, we got the impulse and all the bowls did it well to restrict them to less than 160.”
Axar Patel also revealed that he did not launch much in this edition of IPL because he was treating an injury, but threw 4 points on the jog against LSG because he had a good pace. Stated:
“I have a slight injury, which is why I have not been a bowling so far and today I felt at a good pace and turned in front of me. I was also watching the games (every time I changed bowling) and so I turned my bowls and everyone who responded very well.
Axar Patel also said he plays according to force when he reaches a bat and urged his team to improve the field. Said:
“I always play according to my strengths every time I go out, no matter the position that I am beating, and I have been successful whenever I try to align a bowl, so we feel good. We can improve our field a little. The possibilities of fall will be crucial during crisis games.”
Delhi Capitals launched his IPL 2025 campaign with a single -hand victory over Lucknow Super Giants in Visakhappatnam on March 24. Having a huge total, DC took a look thanks to the heroics of Ashutosh Sharma.
DC won the launch and chose the first game in the game. They did not have a very good exit, as the duo of Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Polan demolished the bowling attack with their sensational half a century.
At one stage, it seemed that the 230 -track mark would not be complied with, but the DC bowls threw things and restricted them by 209/8.
Kuldeep Yadav (2/20) and Mitchell Starc (3/42) led the retreat and obtained the support of Virj Nigam and Mukesh Kumar, who tied a wick each.
Pursuing the goal, DC began disastrously, as they were reduced to 7/3 at two points. In addition, when FAF du Plessis and Axar Patel fell in sixth place, DC moved away from 65/5 to 7th.
Despite being under pressure, the average and lower order refused to surrender -when Tristan Stubbs collided with 34 runs, and Virj Nigam exploded 39 of only 15 deliveries.
Ashutosh Sharma, who made a contribution from the aforementioned Batters, kept DC in the hunt and the final blow was given by Ashutosh Sharma, who struck 66 balls, while breaking a limit on the last ball of the last to guide his team to an epic victory.
