Chief Judge in Ghana Gertrude Torcorn summed up by the president

Ghana President John Maham suspended the country’s chief court of the country – a step that means the first in the country’s history.

In connection with Gertrude, Thorcorn filed three unsolved petitions that call for its removal while launching the investigation.

The main judges in the Ghana use the security security – that is, they can be removed only from the post for several reasons, which include incompetence and behavior.

The content of the petitions has not been announced, and it does not comment yet, while the former Attorney General Ghana claims that her suspension is an attempt to undermine the judiciary.

“I think it’s full of charades,” said BBC Godfred Yeboah Dame.

“This is the biggest attack on the (judicial system) in the history of the country, the greatest attack on the independence of the judicial system in accordance with the constitutional edition of this country.”

Ms Torcorn-third woman Ghana and was nominated in 2023 by the former president of Nano Akufort.

Her responsibility for control over justice in Ghana.

According to the Reuters news agency, Ms Torcorn has experienced a request for removal earlier this year, when the former president of the Akuft-Adda stated that there were “several drawbacks” in the dismissal petition petition.

Copies of three recently filed petitions against Ms. Torcorn were not initially granted to her.

But some lawyers claimed that the maintenance of the documents was a violation of Ms Torcorn to a fair hearing.

Later, the copy of the petition was available to the chief judge, which allowed her to answer privately and writing.

Ms Torcorn will be invited by the Pentic Committee to respond again to the petition before the final decision is made whether or not to remove it.
