A week after his heartbreak, Justin Rose Moving on to the next stop on a PGA calendar – which left his family to celebrate Easter without their patriarch.

Golf Week He reported in 2023 that Justin and his family had returned to live full time in London while his children were at school. Justin was born in South Africa for English parents who moved to England at the age of 5.

The holiday weekend came on the heels of a dramatic one, making a headline at Augusta’s National Golf Club for the Rose family.
Kate was on hand in the 2025 Masters tournament to see Justin lost to McIlroy, 35, on the first sudden death play hole. Shortly after a moment of glory Mcilroy, Kate found an Irish golf supermarket and gave him a 13 -second cuddle captured by CBS cameras.
During the embrace, Kate could be heard telling McIlroy that she was “very happy” for him.
Justin and McIlroy have a friendship that has spanned over a decade, with the two European golfers competing together on Ryder Cup teams since 2012.
After his wife’s hug with McIlroy he became viral, Justin asked if he had spoken to Kate about Before it becomes RBC’s heritage.
“No, not really,” Justin told reporters on Thursday, April 17. “Some article was somewhere (saying) like, ‘Who is the mysterious woman who embraced Rory?'” Justin continued. “He turned in Kate. That was pretty funny.”
Justin added from Kate and Rory’s hug, “Listen, I think in the moment you realize what it means for everyone involved. You realize what it means to other families, what they have to be feeling. You’re part of the moment. You’re part of all the energy that happens in that moment. I think that’s what’s happening.”
Justin finished in a 42nd draw in RBC’s heritage. McIlroy did not play in the tournament after taking a celebration tour to Ireland with his 4 -year -old daughter, Poppy.
McIlroy will Return to Action in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on Thursday, April 24, joins his friend Shane Lowry. Justin will not compete in the event.
