Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and Max are great streaming platforms – but they all come with a hefty price tag. If you are trying to “cut the cord” by using streaming as your main entertainment resource, you don’t save much by paying for every streamer under the sun.
But there are some too low streaming platforms like Pluto, Tobi and Roku that will allow you to watch movies for free. (Usually with ads, but most of those streamers also have these days.)
This weekend, check out these free offerings from Pluto, Tubi, and Roku.

Five friends (Chris HemsworthJesse Williams, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, and Kristen Connolly) Go to a remote cabin for a weekend of fun and frivolity. But the cabin hides dark and murderous secrets. Sounds familiar?
This horror comedy is a clever turn on the slasher genre, calling the ropes that scary films have pressed for decades. Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford Play two laboratory technicians treating the college’s children in the cabin for a mysterious purpose. You will laugh and scream on this surprising, smart movie and the final explanation of the events of the film is so cunning, it will make you glad you came over for the ride.

“Bring us bushes!” “He turned me into lizards!” and “TIS but scratch!” Only a few of the endless quoted lines of this film will stick with you forever once you watch it. British comedy croupe Monty python (And now for something completely different. Monty Python Fly Circus) puts their own funny spin on King Arthur’s story (Graham Chapman) and his attempt for the holy grail. As Arthur collects his Round Table riders and tries the grail, he encountered rude vicious French, the irritating knights who say “us!” and extremely bloody rabbit.
Widely considered one of the largest comedies ever, Monty Python and the Holy Grail simply cannot be allowed. Here’s a heap: don’t skip the opening credits – and look out for aggressive ditch.

Based on the best Judy Blume A novel of the same name, this age -coming movie follows Preteen Margaret (Abby Ryder Fortson) As she navigates adolescent and grows up. Jewish father’s daughter (Benny Safdie) and a Christian mother (Rachel McAdams) who has chosen to raise her without religion, Margaret is actively discovering her identity after her family moved from New York City to the suburbs. Separated from her dear Sylvia’s grandmother (Kathy Bates) And trying to make new friends, she begins to trust God for her thoughts and concerns.
Blume’s book became synonymous with a teenager for a reason, because the story was moving and funny. In spite of its location in 1970, Are you there God? Transferable to anyone who can understand adolescent trials. Fortson’s acting ability belittles her young age as she convey Margaret’s complex emotions dexterously. Mcadams are vulnerable as a mother trying to adapt to suburban life. Together they make a simple, beautiful story about growing up
