Liverpool could get the title of the Premier League Sunday with the victory at Leicester City and a little help from other places.
The Reds lead the Arsenal by 13 points with six games and will be crowned champions if the Gunners lose to Ipswich Town and claim the victory at the King Power Stadium.
Unfortunately for Liverpool, the first part of this equation seems unlikely. However, regardless of Arsenal’s fortunes, Liverpool needs only two more wins to ensure of the title that he had been intended for for some time.
And this game is likely to be consistent with another struggle that has ended for a while, being the weakness of Leicester against the relegation.
The Foxes have supported a miserable return to the first flight and will be relegated to the championship if they fail to beat Liverpool.
The victory for Leicester would be an almighty shock, and all the numbers in his horrific camp point to Liverpool’s captain, Virgil Van Dijk, celebrating his new style contract.
Leicester’s defender, Wout Faes and the teenager Jeremy Monga will be able to return from the minor problems that left them out of the last weekend draw with Brighton and Hove Albion.
Liverpool is ready to house Trent Alexander-Arnold again due to an ankle injury, while striker Darwin Núñez should return after an illness.
Leicester City: Hermansen; Pereira, Okoli, Coady, Justin; Ndidi, souumare; McATEER, the Khannouss, Mavididi; Vardy
Liverpool: Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoslai, Diaz; Gakpo
The game will be broadcast at the main event of Sky Sports, Sky Sports Premier League and Ultra. It will also be available on Sky Go and now TV.
Liverpool can see the finish line regardless of what is happening in Portman Road. Leicester has all the badges of a team desperate for the end. It will arrive on Sunday.
Prediction: Leicester 0-3 Liverpool
