The Rajasthan Royals (RR) suffered their third consecutive loss at IPL 2025 after being defeated by Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Super End on Wednesday, April 16. RR’s lead coach Rahul Dravid on his official social media account and deleted the post after receiving a reaction from Rajasthan fans.
Rajasthan Royals restricted Delhi to 188 runs in his 20 points during his confrontation IPL 2025 in the Arun Jaitley Stadium. In response, RR seemed like a victory with half a century from Yasseus Jaiswal and Nitish Rana. However, Mitchell Starc turned the game in favor of DC with his bowling, including Super Over.
Rajasthan Royals faced criticism after publishing a controversial meme of the movie Munna Bhai Mbbs, who seemed to be mocked by Rahul Dravid. The image, with the subject “The subject Kuch Bhi Mehsoos Nahi Kar Sakta” (the theme cannot feel anything), was interpreted by many as an excavation in Dravid.

Dravid suffered a leg injury during a local cricket game in Bengaluru before the start of the IPL 2025 season. The former Captain of India and Rajasthan Royals has remained involved with the team despite being on the crutches and using a wheelchair. Dravid also represented the franchise during his game days.
Delhi Capital began with a disappointing note, as Jake Fraser-Mcgurk was dismissed by 9 runs by Jofra Archer. Karun Nair ended with a duck after a bad mix with Abishek Porel, which anchored the entrances with 49 of 37 deliveries. Porel and Kl Rahul (38 of 32 years) constituted the entrances with a collaboration of 63 runs.
However, both batters fell while trying to speed up the score. Pattern Axar Patel and young Blear Tristan Stubbs provided late fireworks to help DC publish a competitive total. Axar broke 34 of 14, and Stubbs scored a 34 -year -old unmatus. Delhi Capital ended with 185 runs in his 20 points.

Nitish Rana (51 of 28 years) and DHRUV Jewel (26 of 17) added a collaboration of 49 runs for the Third Wicket, approaching Rajasthan to the target. Rana was dismissed by a perfect yorker from Mitchell Starc. Starc restricted the Rajasthan to only eight runs in the final, forcing the game to a super -facked.
Starc was the hero of Delhi Capitals, ending with figures of 1-36. On the superpass, he only granted 11 runs and fired two Batsmen de Rajasthan through publications
