Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), directed by Ajinkya Rahane, assumed the Punjab Kings (PBKs) of Shreyas Iyer (PBKs) in the 31st Indian Premier League (IPL) match 2025 on Tuesday, April 15.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) lost the exciting IPL 2025 game against the Punjab Kings (PBKs) for 16 runs at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur.

I will blame, I will play the wrong shot

How did KKR perform in the previous IPL match against PBKs?
In his previous match against Punjab Kings, the Kolkata Knight Riders presented a monstrous battles exhibition on April 26 in Eden Gardens. They scored 261/6, but it was not enough, as they suffered a shocking loss of eight wickets.

Prabhsimran Singh, with his twenty-ball 54, and Jonny Bairstow, with his undefeated 108, demolished KKR. In addition, Shashank Singh joined the party with 68* of 28 balls.
Sunil Narine appeared as a taller KKR bowler, but could not change the result of the game despite returning with an excellent 1/24 in four points. The rest of the attack was very leaked and the game moved away from KKR’s hands when the Chase was completed at 18.4.
