The reports said that the Mumbai Cricket Association along with the approval of the booth on behalf of Rohit Sharma has also agreed to do the same for Mumbai Cricket Grans in Sharad Pawar, Ajit Wadekar and Amol Kale.

Rohit Sharma’s booth will be the Demosh Pavilion 3, while Grand Stand Level 3 will be called Sharad Pawar, and the Great Stand Level 4 will be named after the missing Wadekar Ajit. They will be honored for their contribution to Mumbai and the Indian Cricket.

The President of the MCA, Ajinkya Naik, spoke of the decision to appoint the pillars of the Mumbai cricket, saying that it reflects their respect for it. He added that the bleachers will echo the legacy of those who built the Mumbai cricketing spirit. Speaking in an official statement, he said (as HT quoted):

“Today’s decisions reflect our deep respect for the pillars of the Mumbai cricket and our determination to build an even stronger future. These stops and this lounge will forever be the legacy of those who built the Mumbai Cricketing spirit: Maó for Maó, directed by running.”
