Marvin Gaye IIIthe eldest son of the legendary singer Marvin Gayeis accused of assault, battery, false imprisonment and more in a new lawsuit.
According to court documents filed in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 26, and obtained by Us Weeklythe accuser, referred to only as Jane Doe, claims she was called to Gaye’s home in January 2023 to mediate an argument between him and his then wife Wendy.

At one point, Gaye “intentionally confined her in a guest room by physically blocking her exit and threatening harm,” court documents state.
The unnamed woman claims his “dangerous” behavior was “extreme, outrageous and beyond the bounds of decency.”
In the lawsuit, Gaye is also accused of organizing “intimidating acts,” including “interfering with her vehicle by breaking the brakes and arranging for his associates to surveil (her) home.”
