In this week’s issue of Weekly USon stands now, Gail Simmons revealed that in 2010 – after Top cook Emmy won for an outstanding reality competition series – the cast celebrated their big win in a ruler where he crossed trails with one of his favorite actors.

The actor, 84, attended the incident with his wife Sunny, who, as it happened, was a loyal viewer on the Bravo series. “10 minutes later, there’s a tap on Tom’s shoulder. We’re turning around and he’s Patrick Stewart and his beautiful wife, Sunny,” he continued. “They said, we wanted to say congratulations – Sunny is a huge fan. Can we take a photo with you guys?”
“I jumped up as if a house was on fire and flowed over them completely,” explained Simmons. “I told him that I had in college had a life-breaking cut of him on the wall of my dorm room-and that was embarrassing, but it is true.”

16. I recently received an award from the Canadian Government from the Canadian Consul General in New York for my work nurturing the Canadian American Partnership. At this very moment in history, I’m pretty proud that I even play a small part.
17. For over a decade, we have spent almost every Christmas in Jamaica with a bunch of friends. It’s a place I can fully relax.
18. I’ve done a lot of travel but always more to do: Argentina, Thailand and Kenya are where I would like to go next.
19. I collect boiled egg cups. I have as many as antiques, modern, ceramics and vintage.
20. The most valuable lessons I have learned from working in the food industry are that feeding people nourishes me and you can’t control everything. You can only manage your own responses and actions, and you have the power to use those responses and actions to improve each situation.
21. I would love to tackle hospital food refurbishment. Perhaps Michelle Obama could help me one day.
22. My Essentials of Beauty are Jones Road Miracle Balm, Dior Concealer and my Caludal Moisturizer and Eye Cream.
23. We’ve shared so many meals (AM) have done so many great things, but one of my most memorable days with Tom (Colicchio) and Christ (Kish) was this season, when we went on an outdoor adventure together at Banff, Alberta during a day off.
24. When I’m too lazy to cook, I buy a quart of avgolemono soup from a Greek restaurant near my house.
25. During this term of Top cookWe came to Canada and in almost every chapter where there are restaurants, one of my family members or the best lovers of high school (make an appearance).
