There is no one who wants to watch Jax Taylor on season 2 of The valley than Jax himself.
“It is very rough. I don’t know who the person is. I look disgusting,” Taylor was told, 45, only Weekly US on Thursday, April 10, at the red carpet premiere for The valley for watching season 2 ago. “I give myself the ick just look at it.”
Taylor referred to himself as a “human shell” In filming the second season, adding, “I was very abhorred with myself, very emotional and very sad. But again, that was a year ago. I’m in a very different place now.”
He continued: “I’m healthier. I put a little weight – a healthy weight. I’m really in my fitness and health and trying to take care of my body. I’m trying to get things right with them Brittany (Cartwright) and take care of our son. “
In spite of public progress and decline. “He is in school and is in speech and vocational therapy. It’s about so much. It takes him a little longer. But, you know what? If he wants to live with me for the rest of his life, that’s right.”

Charles Sykes/BravoTaylor admitted that he was not always in good place with Cartwright, 36. “We are talking every day. We are fine today but God knows what will happen tomorrow,” he noted. “Anyone who goes through divorce goes through this. I don’t know who’s not. It’s just a difficult thing but we’re going to be fine.”
The play between Cartwright and Taylor played out as they returned to film season 2 of The valley. By the time cameras rose back in the summer of 2024, Cartwright and Taylor were going through a divorce case, after which he entered a 30 -day treatment program to tackle his mental health battles.
Taylor left the inpatient facility in August 2024, with his representative saying in a statement, “Jax has spent the last 30 days receiving treatment and will go back home later this week. It’s been an emotional month for him and he is most looking forward to spending time with his son.”
More recently Taylor revealed that he had been Substance abuse issues fightincluding cocaine abuse, for more than two decades.
“I’ve been in and out of using cocaine for a walk. I wouldn’t use it every day. Months we would draw,” he explained to Us in a Tuesday cover story. “And then we’ll do it as this week, maybe twice a month or three times a month. It went very bad though. When the divorce started (with my wife who is disengaged Brittany Cartwright), I felt I was doing it leisurely.”

Koury Angelo/BravoTaylor noted that he was still work for himself every day. “I had all these other issues because I hide loneliness,” he said. “I hide the texting women by making drugs and drinking alcohol. I have all these other issues. So it’s a slow process, which is difficult for me because I’m always looking for the quick answer. This is one of those things in a life that is not a quick solution. You have to work on it. I am not used to that.”
Taylor concluded: “This doesn’t work that way. That’s not how addiction, illness and mental health work. People like, ‘Jax, you’ve done a lot of freaking damage. Like many. And this isn’t going to go away anymore. People have had enough.”
