CCTV staff recorded the moment when the explosion seemed to break the backpack, it was reported to be left outside the office block on Friday.
Police said anonymous calls were made in the Greek media, which warned of the attack, which took place close to one of the most lively highways of the capital, Leofaraz Andrea Siggar. The deaths and injuries were not reported.
Greece’s Minister of Transport, Christ, condemned it as a “criminal act” that “endorsed people’s life”.
Local EFSYN news news, Greek daily newspaper and web Zaita Zougla – both received a call – they said that the explosive device was obviously placed in the lock and placed on the scooter without numbers.
They said the police dispose came too late to blow up the device safely before it exploded.
Staucraus, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, said the attack was “absolutely convicted”.
“This is a criminal act that threatened the lives of people, employees and passers-by, at the central point of Athens and at the peak of the movement,” he said in a statement.
“Nothing justifies terrorism or a violent act brings justice. The authorities and the judiciary now have a floor,” Staucras added.
The Heline train confirmed that the staff had not suffered and the citizens had not passed, and that the blast caused “limited damage”.
“Our company clearly condemns all forms of violence and tensions that feed the climate of toxicity that undermines all progress.”
Although the cause of the explosion is not yet known, it goes amid a wide public anger over the railway disaster that took place more than two years ago.
