Gujarat Titans by Shubman Gill (GT) played against Rajasthan Royals in Sanju Samson (RR) in the 23rd Indian Premier League (IPL) match 2025 on Wednesday, April 9.

The Gujarat Titans (GT) team won the High Profile IPL game against Team Rajasthan Royals (RR) for 58 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Good Total first first on board – Shubman Gill

Gujarat Titans published on 217/6 on the board after being invited to the first baptism. Sai Sudharsan led the GT Battle Unit with its notable 82 balls of 53, while Jos Buttler and Shahrukh Khan contributed with 36 runs each before Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan finished tickets at a maximum. Defending the scoreboard, GT managed to leave RR by 159 at 19.2 points, and all six bowls took at least one wick at the entrances.

During the presentation ceremony after the game, Shubman Gill said he was pleased with the score they were recorded while baptizing first and shown in Rich Praise to Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler. Said:

“The first total of the board. It was not easy in the first 3-4.

Shubman Gill added that they have a unit where everyone contributes. Said:

“Everyone is crushing. If you have difficulty choosing the game player, it is a good problem to have, and this has been our badge as a team. Everyone contributes and comes in. It’s good for us.”

While talking about his bowling unit, Shubman Gill said he is very pleased with his performance and facilitating his job. Said:

“Very satisfied. When you have bowls like the one we have on our team, the captaincy becomes very easy. Especially the way all our quick bowls are in my work, makes my job very easy. Whoever I bring it is just happy to take doctors and contribute.

When asked if the GT’s senior bowls try to overcome or dominate it on the pitch, Shubman Gill replied:

“Everyone is very nice. We have Ishi Bhai (Ishant Sharma) who has played more than 100 test games, but everyone is very nice.”

How did GT act in the previous IPL party against RR?

Gujarat Titans showed the steel nerves in their previous IPL against Rajasthan Royals to seal an exciting three Wicket victory in Jaipur.

First winning the launch and opting for Bowl, Gujarat Titans allowed the Rajasthan Royals to end a total of 196/3 on the board, while Riyan Parag and Sanju Samson broke the impressive half centuries. With the ball, only Mohit Sharma, Umesh Yadav and Rashid Khan were among GT doctors.

Pursuing the goal, they started with confidence with Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan by adding 64 runs for the opening wick. Gill played a captain stroke, scoring 72 of 44 balls with six four and two.

But while GT attempted to accelerate, the Pacler Rr Kuldeep Sen hit three times in two points, and the home team suddenly tightened its grip by reducing the Titans on 133/5.

It took 40 runs from the 15 final balls to win and Rashid Khan (24 from outside) along with Rahul Tewatia (22 out of 11) maintained Vive GT and even after the departure of Tewatia, the Afghan star sealed the victory for Smashing Avesh for one four on the final ball.
