Just because Swat It was not canceled for the third time meant that the battle for its future – and possible side effects – is over.
During a unique interview with Weekly US. Annie Ilonzeh reflect on the battle to come Swat Back, saying, “This show is so damning. I’m talking about the things that happened in front of the camera you tested, the things that happened behind the camera – all as a whole. It’s so much five (but) we’re still fighting.”
Ilonzeh and the rest of the cast have been delighted by the sweeping fan support.
“We have our petition with 70,000 signatures and it continues to grow. Every time we push a huge on our social, people (join) fight when they sign and they start reposting and we have some bites,” he explained. “We cross our fingers. So a specific discussion is having. Hopefully I can say (soon) we really have done it. We rallyed for the third time.”
Ilonzeh continued: “But we make noise. They see it – interested producers and streamers – they’re like, okay, this is something. ‘ So if we can plug and play, we’re all ready to go.
While most shows on CBS have had exceptional luck, Swat put it through the wing. Based on the 1975 TV show and the 2003 film adaptation of the same name, Swat Centralized on the Los Angeles Police Department.

“For a great achievement, if we could reach double digit seasons. It’s still great to be able to celebrate long -lasting TV with a built -in fan base. That becomes your family,” noted Ilonzeh. “We cross our fingers with our numbers going up on the petition. But we are also hopeful that they really take that sound seriously and go, ‘Let’s do this.’

Bill / CBS shippingIf Swat has received a second revivalThat would probably be the final battle for the behind -the -scenes show, with Ilonzeh adding, “I was just talking to Shemar yesterday and it was, ‘If we do this for the third time – whenever we are canceled again – I’ll be fine with it. I don’t fight for a fourth (time) because we really do it and we finish on that.’ We will finish on the fighting and victory and delight in all this and squeeze the life out of it.
Ilonzeh, who has been on the show since season 8, is not ready to say goodbye to Devin Gamble. Fortunately the actress is all about possible spinoff.
“It’s a hard core yes. Undoubtedly I would be elated and over the moon. It’s just grew up in conversation – especially between newbies. We could make this spinoff completely,” he said to Us. “We really take that seriously that we are women in this area who are male -dominated – and perhaps under -represented on television or anywhere. We take that so seriously.
