Teen’s mother‘S. Tyler Baltierra “Beyond heartbreaking” to see pictures of Carly’s girl being dropped on -lein.
“Saying I am disappointed is an undertaking. He is literally depressing and sad that people are still sharing photos and now videos of Carly,” wrote Baltierra, 33, through his Instagram story on Saturday, April 5. and it is truly devastating. ”
In July 2009, Baltierra and his wife Catelynn Lowell document their decision to set Carly for adoption On mtv’s 16 and pregnant.
While open adoption has been successful for several years with MTV documenting Various reunions on the Teen’s mother Franchise, things have gradually taken turns with adoptive parents Carly Brandon and Teresa Davis take steps to make it adopted. (In January 2025, Lowell, 33, have said Us She has not seen Carly in two years.)
Baltierra said there were no winners when he faced pictures of Carly – singing in a church choir – on -lein.
“I’m beyond heartbreaking to Carly and her parents (if this is something they really didn’t want),” Baltierra wrote through social media. “Every Sunday, I would watch that morning worship, hoping and wishing that I would see her beautiful face and voice that day. I would watch in silence, through tears and feel so much joy in my heart, and I made sure I kept it private for myself.”
According to Baltierra, “those few valuable minutes every Sunday” was to see his daughter very special. Now, those opportunities could “go now” because of the content some people have chosen to share on -lein.
“I’m beyond heartbreaking,” he said. “I know everyone will blame me and Cate for this, but remember … we’re not the posted ones. We’re not the ones who have dropped her photos or videos, you all have and that’s the sad irony here.”
Lowell and Baltierra – who are also parents of Nova, 10, Vaeda, 5, and Rya, 3 – continue to share their experience with adoption on both Teen Mother: Next Chapter and podcastone’s “Cate & Ty Break It Down” podcast.
Lowell has previously stated that part of the reason they share their story publicly is to inform Carly they have not forgotten about it.
“I want Carly to know that if she is the one who still wants contact and does not happen, I will fight for that ‘until the day I die or until she tells me it is too difficult for me to get a link,” Lowell only shared with Weekly US In January. “But until that day, I want her to know that I am always here and always ready to do whatever I can.”
Until then, Baltierra hopes that his critics will rethink their actions at -le as he waits for the day to be reunited with Carly.
“You should all be ashamed of yourself as much as you claim to be ashamed of (for whatever reasons you decide),” he wrote on Saturday. “You all add to so much unwanted heartbreak and I don’t understand why.”
