The pair first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted holding hands in November 2020, less than a year after Hudgens split of long term love Austin Butler. Hudgens and Tucker went Instagram official in honor of Valentine’s Day the following year.

“I met Cole on a Zoom meditation group. Very random, yes,” Hudgens said Entertainment Tonight in April 2021. “Zoom, you’ve got to love it. It’s perfect for me. I am (happy). I really am.”

A month later, Hudgens elaborated on how she made the first move when they originally met the baseball player. “I slid into his DMs and I was like, ‘Hey, it was nice to meet you.’ So I think there is no shame in making the first move,” he continued The Drew Barrymore Show in May 2021.
