Actor Bollywood and Director dying at 87

Veteran Bollywood actor and director Manoi Kumar died at the age of 87 in the financial capital of India Mumbai.

The actor died of “age -related health problems”, Dr. Santash Sheti from Kakilaben Dhrubhi Ambani hospital, where the actor was recognized.

His son Kunnan Goswa told Ani that Kumar has long been fighting health problems.

Kumar leaves behind a rich heritage of patriotic films that made him glory in the 1960s and 1970s.

Kumar, originally named Kharykrishan Goski, was born in 1937 in the Northern State of Punjab.

He cut himself a niche in Hindi’s film industry with films such as Shahid, Roti Capada Aur Macaan and Trund. His films, known for his patriotic passion, struck the chord with the Indian public.

For many years, Kumar has received numerous awards, including Sri’s “Sri” – the fourth -largest Civic Prize in India.

His contribution was brought to him by the Award Dadashab Falke, the highest cinematic honor of India.

Dani is poured into social media to mourn his death.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called it an “Indian cinema”.

“Manoi Ji (respect for Hindi) fired the spirit of national pride and will continue to inspire the generation,” he wrote in a report on X.

Director Ashok Pandit said his death was “a great loss for (films) of the branch” and that the whole branch would miss him.
